Frequently Asked Questions

When do we meet?

Beat-It meetings are held four times a year.  At the present time, the Grantham branch meets at Grantham Hospital with further branches coming soon. Details of up and coming meetings can be found on the website or e-mailing us here

We also aim to offer other events and to raise awareness in the local community

What Happens In A Meeting?

Central to Beat-It’s mission is the provision of helpful information so that you can become more informed about the conditions that affect you. A Beat-It meeting will then offer a short presentation or talk by a specialist in the field, the chance to ask questions, an opportunity to share experiences and of course, the excuse for a good natter and refreshments with people who are going through similar things to yourself!

Does It Cost Anything?

Beat-It, East Midlands  offer FREE group meetings. All we ask is that you get in touch and book your place in advance, if at all possible, so we have an idea of number.

If we are running a special event, there may be a small charge to cover costs or to fund-raise but the support group meetings don’t cost anything.

How Do I Book A Place Or Find Out More?

It’s easy to get in touch! Contact details are available here or use the signup form on the home page.

We look forward to welcoming you to a meeting soon

Please note Beat-It East Midlands does not offer advice on individual cases but rather aims to offer support and information in the wider context. We are not in position to make specific recommendations and users should raise any individual questions with their own clinician.
